The Chronicles of Narnia, by CS Lewis
Senior Fiction, Stage 3 Learning Centre Read this if you like adventure, journey and a tad of magic The Chronicles of Narnia is a seven-novel fantasy series, which follows the story of children having adventures in the magical land of Narnia. Throughout their stories they meet amazing magical and talking creatures and participate in battles and quests, always under the watchful eye and guidance of Aslan the lion. Senior Fiction, Stage 3 Learning Centre Read this if you like dragons, magic and adventure This is a really good book. It's about 3 girls who find out they are dragon girls. Maddy Mara makes very good books like this one. I recommend borrowing it! |
Cop & robber, by Tristan Bancks
Senior Fiction, Stage 3 Learning Centre. Read this if you like drama, running fiction, simple crime fiction. This novel is about Nash, a runner whose father gets into trouble with some very dangerous people. This is awkward for Nash whose mother is a Police Officer. As the day of Nash's big race arrives, he and his father have to work together to come up with a plan to get his father out of trouble before it is too late. |
Lenny's Book of Everything, by Karen Foxlee
Senior Fiction, Stage 3 Learning Centre Read this if you like heartwearming and heartbreaking books A beautiful, if a bit sad, story about a family doing it tough.
